Sketch for a Cause

Students Islamic Organisation of India invites cartoons* on

current issues from students.



Rules & Regulations


Eligibility

1. Participant should be a student within India
2. No age Limit.
3. There is no restriction on sex. Both boys and girls can

participate.

Cartoon

1. Cartoon shall be on the current issue/events India is

facing, Old/outdated cartoons will not be accepted.
2. cartoon shall be minimum 2.5x2.5 cm and Maximum 5cm x 5 cm
3. Cartoon preferably shall be color however B&W are also

acceptable. Comments language can be english, hindi or urdu

(comments preferably shall be written separate by computer

typing or legible hand writing below cartoon)
4. Cartoon shall be purely handmade, computerized cartoons

will not be accepted.
5. Cartoon shall be original works of participant; it should

not be copied from any website, newspaper or Magazine.
6. Copyright images will not be accepted. If Any participant

is found copying the copyright/published work he will be

blacklisted in our database and will no longer be able to send

his works to us.
7. Cartoons shall be scanned and sent to

cartoon@sio-india.org. Minimum resolution shall be 300dpi
8. No hard copies will be accepted due to fact that majority

issues becomes old in a day or two.
9. All entries selected by Jury for Display can be seen at

sio-india.org or Published magazine of SIO.(available online at

rafeeqemanzil.com )

10. All outdated cartoons will move to contest.sio-india.org.

11. All cartoonist/participants to fill KYC (know your

cartoonist) form at contest.sio-india.org. ( same Reg. Number

shall be quoted in subject of cartoon mail)


Prizes

1. All participants whose work got published in a month best of

which will receive a non cash prize of minimum Rs.300 and max

Rs.500
2. An student who receives a prize will be blocked for next two

months for receiving the prize in order to provide chance to

maximum students and to provide motivation to new talents.

Although his work will continue to publish.

3. Decision of the jury in regards to monthly prize will be

final
